Spare us. The marketing tease isn’t going to add value to Scarpa’s overpriced products. Last years model of the Freedom was disappointing. Tightening-loosening Range of lower two buckles was negligible. Dark color of boot plastics morphed from near black to ugly bluish black over short period of time. Rear clasp for release of upper boot flex was clunky and cheap looking. Intuition liner was not top of Intuition’s offerings.

So for the kind of trippy hype featured in this promo, thanks but I’ll be going back to Technica. Next time, try to show some pride in the product and show the product.

Wow, surprising hate on one of our most-loved products to date. Sorry you had a bad experience with the Freedom SL. If you feel there was a defect with your boot, we encourage you to reach out to our warranty department. We stand by our products and our service. The Freedom RS is a completely new beast. New plastics, new buckles, way more power. North American ski publications, including Powder, Backcountry, Skiing, and SKI, have heaped awards on the Freedom RS. The hype around this boot isn’t just coming from us.
